Teacher Sascha
With a lifelong love for dance and a deep appreciation for expression through movement, Sascha brings passion and joy into every class she teaches. Her teaching style centres on creating a nurturing and encouraging environment where students feel confident, inspired, and supported at every stage of their dance journey…
Sascha matriculated at Pro Arte Alphen Park High School, where she took Dance Studies as one of her subjects. She completed her RAD Ballet training up to Advanced 2, later obtaining her Dance Teacher’s qualification through DASA (Dance Academy of South Africa).
During her High-school career, Sascha received many awards, as well as colours for dance showcasing her dedication and love for the art form. She participated in various theatre productions through Pro Arte as well as with YDCT (Youth Dance Company of Tshwane), this helped her gain valuable performance experience and an appreciation for stagecraft and professionalism.
Sascha further pursued her love of dance by attending TUT for a short while, where she continued to expand her dance knowledge and practical experience. Although she did not complete her studies there, the time there contributed to her artistic growth and understanding of dance both as a discipline and an art form.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, Sascha has worked with dancers of all ages and abilities, focusing not only on technical development but also on artistry, musicality, discipline, and self-confidence. She believes that dance should be both structured and joyful, allowing each student to grow at their own pace while developing a genuine love for dance.
Sascha is deeply passionate about guiding young dancers as they discover their strengths, express themselves through movement, and build skills that extend beyond the studio.
